The best hotel in chiang mai

Liked:I have stayed here for the last eight years. Both at the empress and the empress premier. Its like my home away from home. The staff are phenomenal . The rooms are spotless , the pool and gym are superior. I can only rave about this place. You walk in and everyone welcomes you with those thai smiles. I have never come across a grouchy person in all these years. We stayed for one month and plan on returning here for 2 months next year. There-are too many people to mention here as everyone is so kind and thoughtful( i do adore thai people) but to name a few. Mon from the dining room at the premier, Boom at the front desk at the premier and paul , front desk at the Empress. But actually, everyone is wonderful!!!!

Empress Hotel Chiang Mai.

Liked:Large comfortable hotel, on the edge of Chiang Mai old town, we were upgraded and presented with a welcome bundle of snacks and drinks on arrival. Staff friendly and helpful, Breakfast buffet style but some items were cold. Overall though very good place to stay to enjoy Chiang Mai.

Good hotel

Liked:Lovely hotel with friendly staff at the reception, easy check in and check out. Was given welcome snack bag which was very nice touch. Hotel is only 20mins from the airport and 10 mins walk to night market and restaurant. Choice of breakfast was limited and could be improved. Rooms are lovely but bathroom needs to be updated ( no proper shower) overall hotel is still very nice.

Nice Hotel Yet Aged

Liked:28/12/24 - 05/01/25 Room 1509 Lovely hotel yet a little aged. Chiang Mai at New Year is expensive however we paid a little over £510 for 8 nights which is very reasonable. Room is nice, again aged, the staff are friendly and helpful. We even got a gift of snacks when we checked in. Fairly good location, About a 15/20 min walk to the night markets, please of bars restaurants on route. Be aware though that the pool bar prices are quite possibly the biggest rip off in Thailand, and that says a lot. It’s a shame they feel the need to rip their guests off. Other than that, all positive
