A peaceful and soulful stay in Chiang Mai!

Liked:What I loved most about Tamarind Village was how peaceful and soulful it felt right in the middle of Chiang Mai. The property had this beautiful hidden-garden atmosphere with lush greenery, lanterns, traditional Lanna design and such a calm energy after the busy markets and temples outside. It felt authentic, intimate and incredibly relaxing — the kind of place that makes slow mornings and iced coffees feel extra special

Liked:Unobtrusively attentive, all your needs and requests attended of times even without asking. Their love for nature wins my vote. Flora and fauna m, the cats and birds - they all peacefully co existed with the staying guests. Our third stay in two years. Will be back for our fourth

Excellent

Liked:The location is excellent — right in the very heart of the old city, peaceful yet central. Just a five-minute walk away is the main temple, and the weekend market is also on this street. Seeing the famous ancient tree in person was truly wonderful. The room was clean with powerful air conditioning, and the breakfast was healthy and delicious. The staff were very friendly.

My new favorite hotel

Liked:The room was impeccably furnished with local Thai artisan crafts. The bed was very comfortable. There were enough outlets. The shower was large, and the water was hot. Towels were soft. Tamarind Villiage is the antidote to a lovely but anodyne Marriott.
