Every hotel on this list clears three checks: a confirmed Brookline mailing address that falls inside the town's official municipal boundary, a walkable connection to the Green Line C or D branch, and a guest review score high enough to reflect consistent quality.

The ranking follows a fixed sequence. Hotels with a named, currently active sustainability certification rank above those without one. Within the same sustainability tier, higher star ratings come first. Within the same star rating, higher guest scores break the tie. Alphabetical order resolves any remaining ties.
