Dallas Marriott hotels: sub-brands, neighborhoods, and what to expect (2026)

Marriott International operates properties across Dallas under more than a dozen sub-brands, from full-service hotels in the Reunion District to extended-stay options near the Arts District. Travelers comparing options will find meaningful differences in room size, amenities, and price point depending on which Marriott brand they book.

How properties were selected and verified

Every hotel on this page was confirmed as an active Marriott International portfolio member operating under its current brand name. Addresses were cross-referenced against Google Maps, Marriott's official booking platform, and public business records. Properties that closed, rebranded, or exited the Marriott portfolio were excluded. We have a separate page for Hilton hotels in Dallas and Hyatt hotels in Dallas if you are comparing across brands.

Marriott hotels in Dallas by neighborhood

Downtown Dallas and the Reunion District hold the highest concentration of Marriott properties, with six hotels within roughly a half-mile of each other near Commerce Street and Young Street. Union Station, which connects the Blue, Red, and Green DART lines, sits within a 5-minute walk of the Reunion District cluster, making it the most transit-accessible area for Marriott guests who prefer not to rent a car.

Las Colinas, located in Irving about 15 miles northwest of Downtown, offers three Marriott properties near the Toyota Music Factory and the Las Colinas Urban Center. The Orange Line DART station at Las Colinas Urban Center puts guests within 8 to 12 minutes on foot of those hotels, and the ride to DFW Airport takes roughly 20 minutes by rail with no transfer.

Addison and Frisco sit north of Dallas proper, closer to the Legacy West corridor and the North Dallas Tollway. Neither area has DART light rail service, so guests staying there will need a car or rideshare. Dallas Love Field is about 20 minutes by car from Addison; DFW Airport is roughly 25 minutes from Frisco.

Airport access from Marriott Dallas properties

  • DFW Airport (20 miles northwest of Downtown): DART Orange Line connects Las Colinas properties to DFW in about 20 minutes with no transfer. Downtown properties require a transfer at Bachman Station, adding roughly 15 minutes.
  • Dallas Love Field (6 miles northwest of Downtown): No direct DART rail connection. Rideshare from Downtown Marriott properties runs about 15 minutes in normal traffic.
  • Addison and Frisco properties have no DART rail access. Budget 25-35 minutes by car to either airport depending on traffic.
  • July highs average around 96°F in Dallas. If you are walking to a DART station, morning departures are far more comfortable than afternoon ones.

FAQs

Common Questions

Currently, 14 verified Marriott International properties operate across Dallas and its immediate suburbs, including Irving, Addison, Frisco, and Plano. The highest concentration sits in Downtown Dallas and the Reunion District, where six properties are within roughly half a mile of each other.

The Downtown and Reunion District properties offer the best DART access. The SpringHill Suites Dallas Downtown / West End is 4 minutes from West End Station, and the Courtyard Dallas Downtown / Reunion District is 5 minutes from Union Station, which connects the Blue, Red, and Green lines. Las Colinas properties connect to the Orange Line, which runs directly to DFW Airport. Addison, Frisco, and Plano properties have no walkable DART rail service.

The three Las Colinas properties in Irving offer the most direct DFW connection. Guests at the Marriott Dallas Las Colinas can take the Orange Line DART train to DFW in about 20 minutes with no transfer. Downtown Dallas properties require a transfer at Bachman Station, adding roughly 15 minutes to the rail journey. Addison and Frisco properties are best reached by car or rideshare, with DFW about 25 to 35 minutes away depending on traffic.

Residence Inn and TownePlace Suites are Marriott's primary extended-stay brands, and both operate multiple Dallas properties. Residence Inn locations in Downtown Dallas and Las Colinas include full kitchens and complimentary hot breakfast. TownePlace Suites properties in Downtown Dallas and Plano also include full kitchens and are priced below Residence Inn. SpringHill Suites offers suite-style rooms but is not designed for extended stays in the same way.

None of the 14 verified Marriott properties on this list currently hold active LEED certification. Several participate in Marriott's Serve 360 sustainability program, which covers energy, water, and waste reduction goals, but Serve 360 participation is not equivalent to third-party LEED certification. If green building certification is a priority, we have a separate page for eco-friendly hotels in Dallas.

Marriott Hotels properties, like the Dallas Marriott Downtown and Marriott Dallas Las Colinas, are full-service hotels with on-site restaurants, meeting space, and pools. Courtyard properties offer a more limited food and beverage setup through the Bistro concept and target business travelers who prioritize location and price over amenities. AC Hotels, like the AC Hotel Dallas Downtown, lean toward a design-forward experience with a bar focus and tend to attract younger leisure and business travelers. All three earn Marriott Bonvoy points at the same base rate.
