Overall, it was an ok hotel but not 4 star in my opinion

Liked:The sports facilities were great. The cleaning staff were also great.

Disliked:The 'adult pool' was full of kids and all loungers were reserved with towels from first thing in the morning everyday, making it impossible to get a bed during the day. The breakfast was average - same food everyday and was pretty cold. There was a quiet room in the back where we liked to sit during breakfast, but the staff wouldn't allow this unless the breakfast hall was full. When you put a deposit down for a towel for the pool, you had to keep that same towel throughout your stay - you had to pay a couple of euros for a clean one, which I thought was weird and unnecessary. The majority of reception staff were nice, however one in particular spoke to my mum in a very rude and condescending manner - we didn't manage to catch his name as he never wore a name tag (perhaps he was manager!). This was very disappointing and was not a great start to our stay.

Good hotel for sporty families

Liked:The reception was very welcoming. Professional and efficient.

Disliked:We went to the sports hotel because we thought it would be good place to watch the world cup but unfortunately the TV room wasn't big enough and there were large pillas in front of the screen. The televisions in the rooms were great size but they didn't have the sports channel showing the world cup... Extremely disappointing. We tried to watch it outside in the bar by the children's entertainment and the music was so loud we couldn't really enjoy it. You would think as it was the world cup but they would move the children's mini disguise to at least a couple of meters away rather than as close as possibly they could. One of the entertainment team, (a lady with blonde hair) was rude to my daughter because she couldn't understand her name. So she made a funny face of her and rolled her eyes. I don't think she liked my daughter's name. After that my daughter wouldn't join in any of the entertainment for children because she didn't like that lady and thought she was rude and horrible. Shame she spoiled her experience. The other entertainment ladies were really lovely.
