Good place to stay while in Wilmington: Clean, amenities nearby, quiet, good parking.

Liked:This Tru Hilton is clean, well located near amenities. The staff are available for any questions, quiet is maintained. After a long drive, free parking is available, always a plus.

Disliked:Breakfast could be stepped up: coffee is watered down, eggs are the poured sort, or spongy ready-mades with questionable ingredients; straight-up scrambled eggs would be preferable, need not be fancy, add small containers of yogurt as seen at some Tru Hiltons.

Liked:This was a bad experience. The Hilton systems were down all over for 5 hours and no one could check in on time. We were not refunded anything.

Disliked:The bed linen had disgusting stains on both queen beds. We could not get new linen until the next morning. I told the front desk and showed the pictures and the receptionist said that she will tell her housekeeper to change ALL of the linen. Well we left the room for a few hours and the housekeeper did not change the linen or make the beds. The shower had hair in it when we got there and the border of the wall was lying in the floor. The air conditioning went out on Saturday and the room temperature stayed at 78 degrees which was so uncomfortable. Also the water pressure in the shower was very poor. This was the worse experience with a Hilton hotel that I have ever dealt with. I would like a full refund on this horrific stay.
