Great location, clean rooms, exceptional staff

Liked:Our family loves staying at this hotel. It is conveniently located with easy access to downtown, the college area, and Wrightsville Beach. My kids love the complimentary breakfast, it's a great way to start each day. What truly makes this place standout is the staff, they always provide excellent customer service and are super friendly. We always feel at home here and appreciate the attention to detail provided by the staff.

Loved our stay. Will be back.

Liked:Excellent front desk service. Clean. Lively accommodations for a family of 5. Sofa bed was perfect for my oldest to sleep on. Breakfast was excellent. The gym was good - the peloton was broken but I reported it and they were on it. Close to good food and about 12 min to Wrightsville beach. Free parking. I have zero complaints and would return in a heartbeat. The night shift person that works the desk (grey hair … maybe in her 60s) was wonderful, sweet, and friendly. She kicked off our stay with a warm welcome when we were very tired which started thugs off just right. Thank you.

Cleaning needs improvement!!

Liked:I wish I had better things to say as this is the first H2S that we didn’t have a good experience at. I know they allow animals and we asked for a deep clean and a room on the 4th floor even though it’s not a guarantee it would have been pet free before we stayed. Upon arrival- bathroom towels had hair and hand towels were damp with shaved hair on it. (I asked for new towels and told them about the hair but no comment or apologies) We had 1/2 roll of toilet paper 3 plates were dirty The main bathroom in the lobby was always dirty! We stopped there when we were at the gym instead of going back to the room and also stopped one night when we came back from dinner The beds were so hard- definitely not a Hilton bed. There were two elevators and one was down for two days- thank goodness we left today because the hotel was sold out for the holiday weekend. Overall it was OK but they could have done a better job with cleaning the hotel. It’s so important to have a clean hotel. If we have to come back to the area I would stay at another hotel which is sad because we’ve had great experiences at other H2S.

Excellent Group Stay – Highly Recommend!

Liked:We had a fantastic experience at Home2 Suites Wilmington Wrightsville Beach! Our group booked 13 rooms, and everything was seamless from the moment we arrived. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, efficient, and accommodating—our keys were ready upon check-in, which made the process smooth and stress-free. They even had a designated space for us to park our charter bus, which was a huge help. The property was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for group stays. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!
