A very comfortable and pleasant stay overall, with a few minor inconveniences

Liked:The bed was excellent – large, very comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The shower was also very good, with strong water pressure and a stable water temperature throughout. The location is convenient, close both to the train station and to the city centre, which made getting around very easy. Another big plus was the good soundproofing; the room was quiet and we were not disturbed by any outside noise.

Disliked:In the bathroom there were not enough hooks for towels, which was a bit inconvenient. During our stay one of the elevators broke down, so the waiting time for the remaining elevator increased. We also missed having a minibar or at least a small fridge in the room.

Liked:The hotel is nice, but there are a lot of little things that spoil the overall impression. And they’re the kind of things that, if fixed, would immediately make it better—and they wouldn’t cost much to fix. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. However, the rooms are clearly lacking in furniture: the only surfaces are a narrow shelf, a narrow table, a small bedside table, and a narrow closet. Why not add a couple more shelves below the one that’s already there? The width is already taken up, but that would provide much more counter space. Why not replace the bedside table with a nightstand that has a couple of shelves? Good blackout curtains and a firm mattress, but very warm blankets. If the light doesn’t get in, you’ll get too hot. There’s a door to the shower, not just a hole where water gushes out—everything outside stays dry. But when it opens, it takes up the entire bathroom space, leaving no room to put a towel in front of it. A wide, comfortable sink, but there’s no shelf underneath it (an obvious solution when space is limited), and there are no napkins on it—it’s not expensive; just put a box in the corner. They’ve hung screens in the breakfast room, but there are no broadcasts on them—just hotel advertisements. You could do without them, but since they’re already there—why not turn them on? And it’s like this everywhere. If they’d just iron out these little details, they could take things to the next level.
