Great place to stay night before leaving Budapest Relaxing and Great Service!

Liked:This place is great if you want to be near the airport on your way home or on your way in as a stop over. It's about 30-40 minutes from the center of Budapest. That being said excellent service they held our luggage lots of it on our last day in Budapest. We relaxed by the great pond with Coy Fish and loud frogs.The front desk folks were great, friendly and helped us move our stuff in the room...aka..lots of luggage! Food was great there also. My experience was great 5 stars for service but location is not the best unless you are leaving the next day or are tired from all the great things to see in Budapest and want a Wellness Retreat great bathhouse and spa retreat! 5 stars under those circumstances as the wait staff was great at the restaurant and lounge also! It's about a 35 dollar charge on Bolt to the center of Budapest where the action is btw!

Excellent for an early morning flight.

Liked:We had an early flight out of Budapest and didn't want to do the drive from in the city to the airport in the wee morning hours. This hotel was perfect for our needs. They set out some breakfast at 3:30 for us and provided a taxi to the airport. We had a good dinner in their restaurant. They also had complimentary mulled wine, hot chocolate and sweets in the lobby.

Do Not Expect Much Here

Liked:We are a Canadian family travelling to Europe a few times per year. This time at the end of our trip in Budapest we were caught by really severe weather conditions and were looking forward to a relaxing overnight stay at Budapest Aiport, Stacio Wellness and Conference Hotel after a difficult evening bus ride from Vienna. These dreams remained only high hopes. We were assigned a room on the first floor. The room was of good size but had no support for our luggage. Instead, it had so many unneeded and unwanted little objects, which people stopping here for one night do not use and do not even know where to put. I am a long-term disability person and cannot bend over the suitcase spread on the floor. So my husband and my daughter had to assist me all the while. The biggest surprise has awaited us in the bathroom. The bath tub was really high and there was no anything solid around I could grab to help my descent into it. Again, my family was here to help me. The shower head was positioned outsite the part separated by the glass, so it was a challenging acrobatic effort to use the shower during bathing because my left arm does not function and I had only one hand to hold the shower head and wash myself. Of course, there was water spilled everywhere on the floor, the counter, the other towels etc... The whole bathroom was soaking wet. The two spare towels have become wet right away and my daughter had to call the reception for more towels. The gentleman arrived some time later with 3 or 4 other big towels, completely unapologetic, unsurprised and did not offer us to change the rooms. Just on the contrary, he told us this was normal and ALL the rooms on the first floor had this problem. We had to wipe the floors after each shower we took that evening, remove wated from wet towels and then pass them again. After this group exercise, I was so upset and agitated that I could not fall asleep for several hours. In the morning, we were up at 4.00 am and downstairs at 5.00 am. I complained about our experience and no apology was offered by a young receptionist. We were NOT offered any coffee even though breakfast was supposed to be included in our price. The only pleasant person was a driver of the van, who drove us to the airport, a sweet and professional person indeed. After our arrival home, I called the hotel a few times and got myself into a CAT-MOUSE play with a <> manager, who refused to answer my call even though he was at the hotel. A terrible experience of an indifferent, disorganized, unfriendly and uprofessional hotel operation. Shame upon you for not knowing the basics of business you are trying to run. I now demand an apology and a reimbursement of my payment.
