Home away from Home

Liked:Our family has been coming to the ranch for many years. It is a favorite home away from home for us. Recently on our last visit, we met with Echo. She had invited us to take a quick walk about to learn the history of the ranch and explore other accommodation options. We were impressed with her knowledge of the Ranch history, knowledge of the Community, and more so her passion for the desert. We are grateful to have met her and have yet another reason to call Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort our home away from home!

Beautiful Spa Day in Tucson on gorgeous resort grounds

Liked:Yestetday we spent a "Girl's Spa Day"at the Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort. The Spa is just an unique and beautiful building on the premises. The three of us gals purchased some Spa Packages for celebrating a 70th birthday and we loved our experience!! Our providers Jordan, Jennifer and Amber gave wonderful massages, facials, scalp treatments and magnesium foot scrubs /wraps. We then hung out at the jacuzzi drinking fruit infused water. We hopped on a golf cart that took us up to the top terrace pool which had a splendid view of the Catalina Mountains. The pool had an outside bar where we ordered drinks and lunch. The food was delicious and healthy! Sitting on the chaise lounges, we could talk in either sun or shade. The golf cart brought us back to the Spa for showering. A beautiful day!!

A great week in Tucson.

Liked:A lovely spot to spend a week in Tucson. Casita was very spacious with a kitchen and patio (great for sunsets), comfortable bed and large bathroom. We will definitely be staying at Hacienda del Sol again.

A resort that seems to prioritize form over function

Liked:Very beautiful resort with lovely rooms and facilities. The waiters were excellent and the restaurant food and drinks were great. However, we experienced a several points of friction: - Both treadmills in the fitness center were broken the duration of our stay - Pools would occasionally be closed for activities, but we were never told where to find that information - Our coffee maker was broken the entirety of our stay. The staff we reached out to suggested we "get coffee from the lobby" (which would require walking quite a ways outside) - One of the pools had a significant number of dead flies in the evening. Maybe this is normal for Arizona, but I was shocked to see a member of the facilities team walk by without doing anything about it.
