A very mean and rude hotel owner

Liked:The hotel was in an excellent location in Tbilisi’s Old Town.

Disliked:It was a very unpleasant experience when, upon our arrival (5:00 a.m.)—even though the hotel had been notified of and had accepted our arrival time—they informed us that we had made a mistake and that the two rooms we had booked were not available. The owner’s behavior was unacceptable, and she suggested that we leave our belongings there and go for a walk until noon, when she could have our rooms ready. Finally, after we pressed her and threatened to call the police, she gave us a single room for the first night. On many of the following nights, there was a lot of commotion in the hotel lobby, with arguments between guests and the hotel staff. The breakfast was sufficient in quantity but repetitive and lacking in variety.

Good location, but rooms are small

Liked:Good location, but the room was tiny. Also the rooms overlook the bar courtyard where there are tables, and it can be noisy at night. Also breakfast starts at 9.00am, so if you have an early start you will miss it (although one day we asked and we were served breakfast at 8.00am).
