Disappointing Stay Due to Housekeeping Issues

Liked:I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights while traveling for business, and unfortunately the experience did not meet my expectations. The biggest issue was housekeeping. During my entire 9-night stay, my room was cleaned only once. Every day I asked about housekeeping, I was told they were short-staffed, but that shouldn’t come at the expense of guests who are paying for the service. If housekeeping cannot be provided daily, the hotel should at least communicate that clearly or offer alternatives such as fresh towels, toiletries, and trash removal. Another major concern was the strong odor coming from the bathroom, which was present throughout my stay. It made the room feel less clean and significantly affected my comfort. The staff was polite, but staffing shortages and maintenance issues had a major impact on my experience. For a hotel at this price point, I expected much better service. I hope management addresses these problems, but based on my 9-night stay, I would not choose to stay here again.

We had a great time and will get our deposit back.

Liked:The breakfast was more than expected and great. The location was perfect, central to all our activities, close to food choices and a shopping mall, right next door to Walmart.

Disliked:At check-in I paid more than my quoted rate AND a $50 PER ROOM deposit that I had not been informed of at booking. So my $174 booking quote came out to $250 per room.
