Convenient and affordable

Liked:We stayed here for 1 night at the start of a Californian road trip. We chose this motel because it was the most affordable in Santa Monica near the beach. The location is good as it is within a fairly short walk to Santa Monica Pier or Venice Beach. There are restaurants and cafés nearby. Whilst not luxurious or deluxe, and with a view of the car park, our ground floor room was fairly roomy, with a table and chair area and a microwave. The front desk supplied a coffee machine, and coffee, for us to make in our room. I would stay here again if I wanted to be close to the beach in Santa Monica and wished to avoid the exorbitant prices of some of the more upmarket hotels.

Worth the stay!

Liked:Great value with free parking in a lively location near the beach. Tom at the front desk was very friendly specially in the company of his cute dog Akira, it just felt like home :) Clean room and overall a comfortable stay. Will be back!

Enjoy a clean, reasonably priced, 1950 - 60's motel with very friendly and accommodating hosts.

When I talked with them about a king room 3 weeks in advance, they said they had one on the second floor. I told them my wife has a torn miniscus in one of her knees and was hoping for a ground floor. They no problem and they could move those people up stairs and give us the ground level floor. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I would recommend Sea Shore Motel to any friends or family. I understand they do have suites in the building next door.
