Little apartment in the heart of the city

Liked:It was like having my own cute apartment right in the city!

Disliked:Can't think of anything. Maybe garbage bags, though I saw the guy and he gladly gave me some.

Liked:Very nicely decorated place in a great location. Staff were really helpful.

Disliked:The room was advertised on booking as having a separate living room to be bedroom which was not the case. We needed this because in person had to rake work calls in the early hours but the other needed to sleep. However the staff were very kind and arranged a spare room for us to resolve the problem

Worst stay ever! Extremely rude service.

Liked:Good location and nice room. There was water to welcome us! Room equipped with utensils. Check-out was late.

Disliked:One of the most disappointing stays. The 9 rating here on Booking.com is misleading. The owner (or employee) is very rude. I've booked several trips using Booking.com (I'm level 3) and I've never experienced this kind of problem. She rudely accused us of not leaving the key. The shower was terrible. It was difficult to regulate the water temperature. It was either too cold or too hot, and most of the time it was freezing. The soap and conditioner dispenser was empty. The room isn't completely dark; the curtain doesn't block out the light. The owner needs to improve her communication; she's very rude and abrupt. I don't know if she's going through personal problems. She didn't want to give us a late check-out of 3 hours, even though there were no guests the following day. Later she granted the late check-out, but tried to force us to leave a tip. At check-in, she sent many messages through Booking.com, saying she didn't grant a room upgrade due to lack of response, but my cell phone number was available for her to contact me via WhatsApp.

Liked:Exceptional stay at Casa Cardennal! I was escaping from a terrible AirBnB when I booked this apartment. Ana Maria was very kind and thoughtful to let me in before check in time, because I had to leave the other place at 11. The apartment itself is so cute and spacious. Very clean and steady hot water, and there is a heater in the room. Location is right at the center. The employees who were cleaning the properties were so so sweet. Overall, I’m extremely happy I booked here! Thank you so much, Ana Maria! If I ever come back, I will stay here again.
