Not to Hilton Standards

Liked:I think this hotel may have changed management and/or ownership. This was my first time staying here and I was with people who had previously been here the year before and said the conditions were not what we experienced this time. The hotel was in very poor conditions. Water leaks in various places that you could tell are not new leaks, there were dead roaches in the lobby and other areas. I personally did not see any in my room. Obviously doesn’t mean there could have been some if they are found in other places at the hotel. Both elevators were not working so anyone not on the first floor had to take the stairs. I was on the 2nd floor. Ice machines were out of service. They were understaffed as well. Room conditions were fair. The bathroom needs some TLC and the carpet I would not recommend you being barefoot on. It needs to be changed. Lots of cracks were seen as well all over the place including my room. Old rusty trash cans in room and public areas too. My whole point on this is for this to be a Hilton hotel it most definitely is not to Hilton standards. I primarily stay in Hilton hotels being a member for years and I travel a lot. In my opinion this place needs to be inspected. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. My complaint is the condition of the hotel.

Disliked:Booked in advance. Arrived at 3pm. Air conditioner not working. Both elevators were not working. Explained at check in desk wire is handicapped and cannot climb stairs. Told front desk clerk this and that she couldn't get to upper room and we could not stay. Told them because the elevator was not working we would have to go elsewhere. I asked if I would be charged for the room and was assured no. The next day they billed my credit card for 2 nights. Will never stay at a Hilton property again.
