An enjoyable stay, hotel is functional but not luxurious. The location is beautiful.

Liked:The view from the room was beautiful The hotel location is beautiful There are 2 swimming pools and the main pool is perfect, beautiful and perfect temperature. There were a couple of maintenance issues with the room and they were fixed promptly. Very impressive. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was good.

Disliked:The hotel food was disappointing. The hotel has 2 restaurants we tried each of them on our first 2 evenings and were unimpressed, so we ate out every evening for the remainder of our holiday. There was no information anywhere about hotel facilities. We had to ask reception for every bit of information and of course, you don't know what you don't know, so we may have missed something. A small shop selling holiday essentials would have been useful as there are no shops within walking distance of the hotel.

An enjoyable family holiday.

Liked:Nice outlook across the lake and a short drive to local towns. The rooms were adequate and clean. And air con was a welcome break from the intense heat.

Disliked:Our shower was quite small. The buffet breakfast was a very busy and at times uncomfortable affair each day and the attention of the staff was a little variable. It may be worth trying to allocate times to balance the load a little?

Liked:This is now my third year staying at Casimiro , I look forward , very much to returning one day . There is a change to the dining room experience in the evening , which on the first night was a little bit chaotic , in as much as our previous stay was buffet meal, and now we have waiter service, however we soon understood the change , and the staff are very attentive and helpful . The restaurant manager has changed , but I found him courteous and professional . This hotel standout is its location , beautiful views across the lake, with an array of wonderful wildlife . Portese is the nearest port , approximately 300 metres from the hotel , and there is easy access to any part of the lake . Thank you once again to the staff at hotel Casimiro , for your service and hospitality. If I were to make a constructive comment, there were a few occasions when young children were in the ( which is clearly stated ) adults only pool , other than that a very enjoyable stay .
