Beautiful quiet stay in the town of San felice benaco

Liked:Lovely clean facilities. Relaxing quiet stay... close to port portese where you can catch a ferry to other towns near by.

Disliked:Pool area clean and calm with surrounding olive fields very scenic

Underwhelming hotel but lovely staff

Liked:The staff really made the stay special - special thanks to Angela and Henry :)

Disliked:Underwhelming room: no mini bar, no toiletries, the fridge was broken and the AC broke twice. The spa was disappointing but the massage was good. Location is ok but if you don’t have a car things get very tricky - taxis are extremely expensive, buses are infrequent, and ferries don’t run regularly.

Disliked:Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but there are several areas that could be improved. There were a few maintenance issues that detracted from the experience. The tiles at the side of the upper outdoor pool appeared unfinished, and some tiles in the spa pool were falling off. The wall at the side of the spa pool was also peeling. In addition, the swimming pool cover stand was rusty, and the paint around the bedroom doorway was chipped and could benefit from some decorating and fresh caulk. The breakfast could also be improved. The food did not always seem particularly fresh, and it would be great to see more freshly cooked options, such as made-to-order eggs or omelettes prepared by a chef. Healthier choices would be welcome, including green tea, porridge, a wider selection of fresh fruit such as bananas, and a variety of dried fruits. The swimming pools were unfortunately too cold, particularly for our baby. A heated pool would make a significant difference for families with young children. It would also be nice if access to the spa was included in the cost of the stay, or if there was an option to add a spa package at a discounted rate. Finally, the restaurant menu could benefit from a few more simple, basic dishes alongside the existing options. Despite these points, we enjoyed our stay and hope these suggestions are helpful for future improvements.
