Definitely return when we need a hotel in St Albans

Liked:Great location, short taxi ride into St Albans. Car parking. Staff very helpful, breakfast great.

Liked:location good, room tidy and clean

Disliked:the staff in reception (male) was not welcoming. He spoke in a very rigid manner and his tone was cold.

A pleasant break, close to our destination.

Liked:Clean and comfortable, friendly staff. Lovely breakfast selection.

Disliked:Limited evening menu. Breakfast was great except for the scrambled eggs.

Painful

Liked:Breakfast, well cooked and hot. Varied selection and well worthy of a good report. Staff were friendly and attentive. Car parking was plentiful and well located.

Disliked:The car park barriers do not work and 6 of our works transit vans were broken into, this was in part to the easy access to the car park. If the barriers were working then an additional layer of security would deter the scum that stole over £30,000.00 of tooling and equipment. A very sorry and a crime number doesn't cut it. So if you are a tradesman be aware.
