Guest Reviews

What Guests Say

7.5

Very Good

83 reviews

Highlights

+Friendly, attentive staff (multiple mentions of manager Alexia)
+Close to beach and many restaurants/shops
+Clean, accessible pool
+Excellent and varied breakfast
+Convenient for airport transfers / kids enjoy seeing planes
+Quiet neighbourhood for evening walks (aside from plane noise on some nights)

Could Improve

–Noise from low-flying/landing planes and poor in-room soundproofing
–Outdated room facilities
–No shower door — water pools on the bathroom floor
–Lack of in-room conveniences: no hairdryer, no bedside charging points, no cookware
–Wi‑Fi does not reliably reach guest rooms
–Some guests feel the hotel is overpriced for the level of amenities

Cleanliness8.0

Generally reported as clean (clean pool, tidy public areas); some room-level issues such as shower water flowing onto the floor due to no shower door.

Service9.0

Consistently praised staff and manager (Alexia) as friendly, attentive and helpful across multiple reviews; a minority remark described service as poor but sentiment is strongly positive overall.

Location7.0

Very close to the beach, restaurants and airport — convenient for seaside access and quick transfers, but also reported as noisy from low-flying/landing aircraft and somewhat far from town/tourist centres.

Room Quality6.0

Several complaints about room shortcomings: no shower doors (water on floor), lack of hairdryer, missing cookware/utensils for the built-in stove, no bedside charging points and generally dated fittings.

Amenities7.0

Nice, accessible pool and strong breakfast offering noted; shortcomings include spotty in-room Wi‑Fi coverage, lack of some in-room appliances/chargers and limited kitchenware.

Value for Money6.5

Mixed to negative on value — several guests felt the property was overpriced for what it offers, despite good service and breakfast.

Food and Beverage8.5

Breakfast repeatedly described as fantastic with good variety; nearby restaurants praised (especially seafood), making dining a clear positive.

Overall Experience8.0

Many guests report an excellent stay due to staff, location and breakfast; plane noise, dated rooms and missing conveniences reduce the experience for some, producing an overall positive but not perfect impression.

Disliked:The hotel and facilities are old, but again, depending on the price, this is what is expected.

Liked:We stayed only for one night, because we had an early flight and the hotel is close to the airport. So close the planes fly really close over it. The staff of the hotel was really friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, everyone found something to eat. People complain about the noise of the planes flying by but we closed the windows and didnt hear a thing. For the price it was perfect.

Liked:Good location to the airport, security was lovely and waited to check us in. Water provided in our room with air conditioning already going. Beds were fine but we only stayed one night. Parking also beside property

Disliked:As others mention it is a little dated and the shower is needing some cleaning attention
