The Downtown Charm Apartment is a wonderful property with an excellent location.

Liked:We loved its proximity to restaurants, pubs, etc, and the fact that it was very well-stocked, and clean.

Disliked:It isn’t that we didn’t like things about the property, but a few corrected items could have made our stay go more smoothly. Because the apartment is literally feet away from the street, it was very noisy at night, especially with the windows open. We had difficulty using the TV; a “How to” narrative would have been helpful. Logging onto the wi-fi was not possible, since we didn’t have the correct user name or their password. A phone-call rectified that. The freezer needs to be defrosted to remove the 2-3 inches of ice lining the freezer space.

It’s a great space but needs updating.

Liked:The location.

Disliked:There were literally holes in the sheets on one of the beds in the second bedroom. Staff needs to be trained better to throw out those sheets! There was more than a pack of cigarette butts in the pot on the balcony… Just Gross when otherwise it’s so beautiful to sit out there. The freezer has about 2 to 3 inches of frost on it. It’s obviously never attended to and we would’ve loved to have made ice, but didn’t. We never got Wi-Fi even though I asked several times for help and nothing worked. The faucet in the bathroom is loose. The workmanship on everything that needs refreshing is quite poor! The directions to find the front door should be included. That alone was challenging.

Location, Location, Location (and parking)!

Liked:You cannot beat the location if you want to be downtown. Parking spot is a huge plus.

Disliked:This is downtown, so expect the normal downtown noise and traffic. Not like you are in the middle of Tjörn :-)

Liked:The property was in a great location. We were able to walk to all of the places downtown we wanted to see. The apartment had everything we needed. The parking spot was a big help to store the car while in the city. The owner was very communicative and helpful. I would absolutely stay there again.
