Underrated, absolute gem of a hotel that helped make our stay

Liked:This hotel hit it out of the park. The cleanest room I've seen since The Ritz, the friendliest staff, an extremely comfortable bed (I want the comforter!), quiet, pet-friendly, lovely bathroom, smart and stylish layout, and perfect location.

Disliked:That I couldn't stay longer, lol! Truly, no notes.

In a great city, with many great hotels, this will be our #1 choice for a return visit.

Liked:We absolutely loved the Monsieur Jean. So many pluses: beautiful room, great kitchenette area, unbeatable location, excellent staff, and smooth valet parking arrangement. The fact it sits centrally in Old Quebec is a major plus. We can be pretty 'particular', so the MJ Hotel "Particulier" was an apt spot for us to stay. It had quirky touches, which added a lot to its overall character and ambience. We just loved it.

Disliked:The only thing we found lacking, in an otherwise great bathroom/shower area, was the lighting. Beyond that quibble, we were so very happy we selected this hotel for our stay.
