A fabulous place to stay in a grand mansion in the heart of Quebec City.

Liked:The location is superb -- easy to access and right by the Plains of Abraham and a short walk to the walls of Old Quebec. We have stayed here on two previous occasions in one-bedroom suites, and this time in a two-bedroom suite which was exceptional and extremely well furnished and equipped.

Great location and stunning building with everything you could need for you stay

Liked:Great location, stunning building, nice and clean inside and fully kitted out with everything you could need for your stay.

Disliked:It was a little noisy with the traffic and the main entrance door slamming shut. There didn't appear to be any detergent/powder for the washing machine.

Liked:The location on Grande Allee Est was exceptional; easy access to everything the city has to offer. I really appreciated the key drop off and pick up instructions. The in-suite laundry was a nice surprise.

Good property and location but needs better cleaning and maintenance

Liked:Lovely old heritage building and in a good location. Within walking distance of the old city and to Cartier Street with shops and restaurants. We stayed in 014, which is in the basement. Lots of living space and bedroom space, although it does feel like a basement (with low ceilings) not a loft. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils.

Disliked:The floors and baseboards were dirty, although the rest of the place was clean. The bedroom at the back has a very loud ventilation system in the closet that would scare me and even wake me up in the night when it turned on unexpectedly. The price was better than two hotel rooms at Château Frontenac, but it was still quite expensive ($1800 for 4 nights). I would expect a spotless apartment for that price.
