Disappointing hospitality, all they see you as is $$$$

Liked:Had reasonably high hopes for this place before booking because of the things id heard before, and the Hyatt name signaled that we could expect the experience that what was advertised. It was actually quite a low level of hospitality that constantly left us disappointed. We did speak up each time and nothing was ever taken seriously or solved or shown any shred of care. Very disappointing hotel experience for it being our Honeymoon, we had especially high hopes, paid for upgrades, spa etc. But it fell very short of what was promised. The worst was calling for water, tray pick up, lost and found, asking for anything and it getting ignored. Tray pick up took 3 calls over the course of 2 days to finally get picked up. By then the leftover seafood was rotting and attracting roaches outside our room. We paid for the Preferred Upgrade and didn't get the things we were promised. Day one there was no private Concierge which front desk called a " personal butler", no access to preferred bar or snacks, and no waters or non alcoholic drinks in our mini fridge, NO promised balcony jacuzzi that is advertised with the upgrade online. Paid an extra $400 for this upgrade. If you don't pay the upgrade youre stuck to the Dreams side only which is SIGNIFICANTLY lower level in quality than the Secrets side. Place is a total rip off.

Great resort! Highly recommend!

Liked:Had our wedding here, it was perfect! You could tell from the coast it was the nicest hotel around! Karla was an awesome wedding coordinator, Mauricio was the best concierge, and Noe, David, and Esteban were awesome with the activities!

Feeling relaxed and grateful

Liked:Our experience at Dreams was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of . The staff was warm, friendly and attentive, making us feel special. The resort was beautiful and relaxing . I highly reccomend.
