My stay was great. I came for a concert and was within walking distance of it. Would stay again.

Liked:Really cool old building and neat rooms. Private room had my own sink and privacy. Downtown location makes it super easy to move around the city.
Disliked:There is a rough looking crowd that hangs around the area. A lot of open drug use however, I never felt unsafe, even walking back after midnight from the star theatre. I can see how it may intimidate some people but the majority of homeless people here keep themselves to themselves.

Liked:The room was ultra clean and perfect for one or two people. The shared bathrooms were a non issue and I was able to access without any delay. Even the shampoo smelt great. Nice views from the room windows of downtown and the rooftop view was fantastic. I actually booked another night on a whim. The waterfront is easy walking and there's plenty to do downtown. Chinese gardens are a block away too for some real zen moments. There are quite a bit of homeless in the area as the train station isn't far...but I had zero issues with them. Also the Cafe was great too. I had avocado toast with micro greens. Sooo Portland and utterly perfect.
Disliked:Honestly it exceeded expectations.
