An Absolute Masterclass in Belizean Hospitality – Already Re-booked
Liked:My wife and I just completed a week's stay at Sirenian Bay, and we have already re-booked for another visit in January. From the moment we arrived, the outstanding staff held true to the saying that you will find the nicest, kindest people in the world right here in Belize. Our experience started with Charles, who picked us up at the airport; he was super friendly, incredibly welcoming, conversational, and highly informative. Upon arrival at the resort, Evelyn, Oscar, and Genevieve greeted us warmly and quickly checked us into our Bungalow, which was absolutely perfect—clean, cool, and comfortable. There was a beautiful wedding event happening when we arrived, which allowed us to immediately see the quality of effort the Sirenian Bay team puts into caring for their guests. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the celebration and listening to the music!
After settling in, we walked across the street to Inky’s just in time for lunch. The menu featured a wonderful variety of dishes, many of which beautifully reflected the rich culture of Belize. It was there that we met some truly fantastic servers who made our dining memorable. There was Commander Dixiony, the boss who has the most wonderful smile, and Neville, who was consistently professional and never hesitated to go the extra mile. Charles, also known as "Chuck the Bartender," gave us fascinating lessons on Belizean history, mixed great drinks, and introduced us to callaloo—which will definitely be growing in my garden next spring! We also loved working with Ricardo, our very first server, who was incredibly pleasant, patient, and kind, just like his cousin Pablo. We were even lucky enough to chat with Celmore, affectionately known as "Celmore Beer," who graciously allowed us to share in his excitement for his daughter.
Our poolside experience was just as exceptional. Cali, our waiter and poolside bartender, gave us a wonderful rundown of the diverse culture of Belize and engaged us in great conversation; he is a very personable, well-meaning, and unforcedly nice guy. George, our other poolside bartender, not only kept us refreshed but also kept us informed and perfectly on schedule with our plans during our visit. We also met Anivar, who gave us a fantastic wine orientation and masterfully coordinated a romantic dinner for us right on the beach.
Without a doubt, the one person who had the greatest impact on our stay was the manager, Oscar. When we originally booked this trip, I had really wanted to stay in the Dolphin Villa, but it was booked for our week. After our first day, we asked if the Dolphin Villa had become available, and it actually was! However, Oscar had an even better idea for us: the Pelican Villa. To say the space is amazing is an understatement—it sits directly on the beach, features two gorgeous levels, and has its own private pool. Within the hour, Charles was at our door to help us seamlessly move our items into the Pelican.
Oscar went entirely above and beyond our wildest expectations. He explained to us that he has been in the hospitality industry since he was 18 and has traveled the world. Through his journey, he learned that when you truly care for people, give them the best of yourself, and ensure their needs are met, you create a customer experience that transforms into a lifelong relationship. He did exactly that for us. Sirenian Bay will always be our absolute first choice when we visit Belize. Between the excellent facilities, courteous staff, beautiful landscaping, thoughtful service, great food, top-tier security, and reliable transportation, everything was flawless. Our sincere apologies to any staff members whose names we may have missed, but please know you all helped make our stay unforgettable. We cannot wait to see you all again in January!

Paradise in earth!
Liked:Sirenian Bay and Resorts is a First-Class experience that you will not regret staying at in Placencia, Belize. Each of one the staff members will treat you like royalty- sincerely friendly and you can feel that they are grateful to live in an island paradise so pristine and well preserved. Each of the staff are proud to show their beautiful resort. Everyone was helpful and bent over backwards to cater to our needs. It felt like a total detox experience!
The Pelican Villa we had was beach front and well appointed. It had it's own pool, TVs, Wine cooler, Refrigerator, Alexa, Internet, hot showers!
Placencia is totally safe. You can wander at night and everybody is friendly. I guarantee you will miss this place once you leave!
We will be back!

A Personalized Paradise Experience
Liked:From the moment we pulled up to the resort, we were in awe. It immediately felt like we had stepped into a place designed for rest, relaxation, and unforgettable memories.
Our first night included karaoke—and boy, what a time that was! We loved the constant reminders to slow down and rest, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. It was those little details that made the experience feel so unique.
Liz provided such a personalized experience. She was practically our human calendar, always reminding us what was coming next and helping us think through everything from when to order food to how to plan our excursions. Her attention to detail made the entire experience feel seamless.
The bartender was absolutely amazing! Our husbands especially enjoyed every drink and the great conversation. Lorenzo was wonderful and patiently answered all of our questions, while Nevel made sure our orders were always correct and took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. We truly loved both Nevel and Charles!
The atmosphere was peaceful, welcoming, and incredibly relaxing. The food was amazing, the hospitality was unmatched, and every person we encountered contributed to making our stay special.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and left feeling rested, cared for, and grateful for the experience. We would absolutely recommend this resort and would love to return!
