Overall ok. Though wouldn’t be my first option for a 5 star resort

Liked:Was overall pleasant. Food was good.

Disliked:The hotel was very dated so doesn’t really look like the photos. For example the pool tiles are broken a lot and the rooms are old. The bed we slept on was visibly very old as the mattress was worn out from where the other guests had slept overtime. Not really what you’d expect from a 5 star resort. There was also a kitchen but no utensils (we were told they aren’t provided when we asked) so not really sure what the purpose of the kitchen is.

Wonderful Family Stay at Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc

Liked:We stayed at Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc with our entire family after arriving on December 3, 2025, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, with spacious and comfortable rooms, well-maintained facilities, and a fantastic swimming pool. The beach is clean, and the overall atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing family vacation. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The only small drawback was the food. While the quality was good, the buffet became a bit repetitive after a few days, and we would have appreciated a wider variety of dishes, especially for longer stays. Apart from that, everything was excellent. We truly enjoyed our holiday and created many wonderful family memories. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay on Phu Quoc Island and would be happy to return in the future.

Liked:We were absolutely delighted with our stay here and will definitely return with our family. The resort meets every expectation for a truly memorable vacation: * The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious choices. * The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows. * The swimming pool is huge, crystal clear, and features water play areas for both adults and children. * The resort provides everything you need, so there’s no reason to leave the property—spa, gym, karaoke, kids’ playroom, restaurants, bars, a private beach, tour services, and motorbike and bicycle rentals. * The location is excellent, with a night market and many restaurants just across the road. * The staff are warm, friendly, and always willing to help. Overall, we discovered this resort by chance, and we truly feel lucky that we did. We look forward to coming back again in the near future!

The credit card used for payment must be presented during check-in for verification. Otherwise, the deposit provided will be refunded and total room charge will need to be settled by a different credit card or by cash upon check-in. Complimentary roundtrip airport transfer is provided daily as per fixed resort’s schedule. Please provide us the detailed flight information at least 24 hours prior to arrival date (before 2p.m local time) to ensure availability and we could arrange service in a timely manner. Resort reserves the right to refuse service in case our shuttle bus is fully booked. Lunch or dinner in Half-board rate is only included for adult.
