What Guests Say

8.8

Excellent

2,446 reviews

Highlights

+Excellent, quiet location close to metro lines
+Very kind and professional staff
+Stylish lobby and calming, zen atmosphere
+Nice breakfast and good onsen/public bath facilities

Could Improve

–Rooms and bathrooms are small (typical for urban Japan)
–At least one report of poor cleanliness/odour in initial room
–Onsen access restricted for guests with tattoos
–One isolated incident of intrusive security staff behavior

Cleanliness8.2

Generally reported as clean and tidy (many guests mention cleanliness and pleasant bathrooms), but at least one guest experienced a very dirty / smelly first room and noted ongoing cleaning issues.

Service9.7

Staff repeatedly described as very kind, polite and professional; one isolated negative incident (security guard entering late at night) noted but overall service sentiment is strongly positive.

Location9.4

Multiple reviews highlight an excellent, quiet location close to metro lines and convenient for sightseeing; location is a clear strength.

Room Quality7.6

Rooms are often described as small (typical for urban Japan) and some found bathrooms very small; overall style is modern but room size and occasional maintenance/cleaning issues reduce this score.

Amenities8.8

Strong on amenities: attractive lobby, pleasant onsen/public baths, free massage chairs, good toiletries (shower head and hairdryer noted). Score reduced slightly due to tattoo restrictions for the onsen and one comment about limited onsen access.

Value for Money8.8

Not explicitly discussed in detail by reviewers; assigned target overall rating in absence of strong commentary on pricing versus value.

Food and Beverage9.0

Breakfast receives repeated praise (described as good/delicious and very nice), supporting a strong score for food and beverage.

Overall Experience8.9

Overall experience is positive with calm, stylish ambience, excellent lobby, onsen and helpful staff; negatives (small rooms, occasional cleanliness issues, tattoo restrictions) temper the perfect score.

Very nice hotel but because of the location I would not visit again.

Liked:The room was amazing very spacious and clean with an excellent views. I liked having an smoking area. The onsen was very nice they even provide nightwear that you can wear on your way there. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very very kind. They have lots of necessities you can grab anytime free of charge and they even provide high end straighteners and curlers for your hair.

Disliked:The location is a bit too far away from the business me and my partner liked but it is perfect for people who would appreciate a more laid back location away from the crowds.
