If you only need a bed and a shower and don’t need luxury or are there for any extended period of time, this place will

Liked:Cheap (only needed a room with a bed and shower for one night as going to Burghley horse trials next day so m: literally went to the room for a shower then out for the evening, back to the room to sleep and shower in the morning): so at that price it met our needs perfectly, although wouldn’t stay here if I were on an extended stay or if I needed to use the room for anything other than showering or sleeping - you wouldn’t chose to spend an evening in the room chilling out. Room was very clean and easy to access: no staff needed as key card in safe box outside with access code provided. Location was fine: a 30 second walk from a car park and close to the town centre so perfectly walkable for pubs and restaurants.

Disliked:Unfortunately they don’t allow dogs so had to leave ours with friends for the weekend.

Liked:We enjoy staying at this hotel, we are return visitors

Disliked:This was our first stay facing the road, the traffic sounds meant that although it was warm we could not sleep with the window open
