ABSOLUTELY AWFULL!!

Liked:The only positive was the location - close to all the things we wanted to do.

Disliked:Sorry but there is so much wrong with this place it's hard to know where to start! 1. - The heat!! Windows don't open and the "AC unit" provided could not be used as such as it needed a flue pipe on the back which would then be put out of a window. As the windows don't open it could only be used as a basic fan which just moved the baking hot air around a bit. We had to go straight out and spend nearly £50 on extra fans.. 2. - The description!! This property is advertised as being good for 10 people with "5 double beds". The beds are not much bigger than singles, there is no way that 2 people could share comfortably. When I came to cook dinner I found there was only a milk pan, a very small saucepan (Think smallest of a set of 3) and a tiny frying pan. Only 3 forks, 3 glasses and 3 mugs for 5 of us! Not sure where the advertised photos of the living/dining room were taken but they are certainly not of the property (Flat 2) that we stayed in. There is a 2 seat sofa and 1 chair plus a tiny table with 3 dining chairs - not enough for us 5 let alone potentially 10 and the room is so small we were tripping over each others legs! 3. - Last but definitely not least - The safety!! Day one there were young lads wandering around in the apartment block who then tried to get into the flat we were in. Day two, as I was helping my disabled grandson get ready I turned around and there was a man standing on the back fire escape staring through the windows at us. Day three, early morning we were all still in bed when I heard a load of voices. As I started to turn around in bed to get up, 3 men walked into the apartment, one walked straight into my bedroom! As I started to get up he walked back out shouting to the others that there was "someone in here". Myself and my daughter shouted at them to get out. I was shaking and my grandson was in tears!

Disliked:Major problem 1: here the windows are sealed shut, so no ventilation in rooms, bathroom, or kitchen. The whole apartment is stuffy. After refusing their expectation to bring my own fan, one portable AC was delivered to the apartment door 2 days before check-out (booked 6 nights) but only can use it as a fan because the exhaust hose has no window to connect to. Major problem 2: 2 of the three bathrooms are outside the apartment, accessible to any person with access to the building. They looked and smelled like public bathrooms. 12 hours before check-in, the property clarified the above situations knowing that their ad wording is misleading and making sure you pass refund timeline. We are a family of 5 with teenage girls that require privacy, so we checked to a nearby hotel and used the apartment for cooking and washing clothes, because we were denied refund. Cooking one meal causes the smell to linger for days. The washing maching is very small. I wish they use honest advertising and promote it as what it really is; an upscale hostel.

Horrible and misleading advertising

Liked:Nothing to like , it’s stuffy with no air ventilation , windows are locked and there is no AC . Also be careful the advertisement is misleading this is not a with 3 bathrooms it’s only one private bathroom and 2 other communal bathrooms that are COMPLETELY outside the apartment. So technically if you need to use the toilet in the middle of the night you need to get dressed because your actualy leaving your home and there is cameras on the corridor leading to it .

Disliked:The staff were rude , they didn’t admit the wrong advertising and they refused to refund us . We refused to stay . Also the toilets were dirty and the soap provided was mixed with water so they also didn’t provide essentials
