Nice hotel but not great for sleeping

Liked:Rooms well appointed, comfortable bed, nice restaurant and bar area. Car parking available.

Disliked:There is no sound proofing between rooms. Could hear conversations from neighbouring rooms which heavily impacted sleeping. Also road noise.

Definitely not 4* so won’t stay again

Liked:Large & easy to find

Disliked:Paying to park because why? It’s not near town or a station? Plenty of parking. Expensive too. Asked reception staff if could park anywhere else & just said no so not helpful. Asked reception how much the electric charge was for electric cars & said don’t know you just scan the QR code so again not helpful. Skirting boards in our room had tea/coffee stains on it so not cleaned properly. Shower kept going cold & hot. No brush to clean the toilet. Won’t be staying again.

Overpriced because the room was large.

Liked:Clean bed and neat. Bathroom was clean.

Disliked:Hall and bedroom carpets were in shocking condition. No iron or ironing board. Shower drain didn’t work. Loo paper was stacked on the support arm and the loo role holder ripped off. Loo seat was not on straight.
