Room was adequate, staff friendly but not performative.

Liked:The handheld showerhead was awesome

Disliked:Terrible lighting for reading at night. There were two bright spotlights over the bed, an impossible situation if one wanted to read and the other wanted to sleep. The bedside light was more of a nightlight and the floor lamp was across the room. While the staff was friendly, it took 3 calls to get a refrigerator brought to our room, they left decaf coffee pods instead of caffinated ones and didn't replace plastic cups in the bathroom. Elevators were ridiculously slow getting to floors. 2nd try, won't be staying here again.

Small but cool and clean in a good location on the UWS

Liked:Hotel was close to metro stations and 79th St transverse central park. NYC was in the 90s and it was wonderful to enter the room with AC keeping a cool 65 degrees F. My room was near the elevator but the floor was quiet.

Disliked:The pillows were more firm than I prefer. Also the room was fairly small - maybe a 2-3 foot walkable space around the bed. As a solo traveler staying one night this wasn't an issue but a second person may have been an issue.
