Rethinking our choice of accommodations for future stays.

Liked:The location is perfect. Rooms are comfortable and cozy. Staff is friendly and accomodating.

Disliked:This is our 3rd stay at the Strand. Each year we've noticed the facilities are progressively deteriorating. Building needs maintenance. Rooms are dated and in need of repair. Our room had lots of update and maintenance needs. Carpets were filthy. AC unit filters appear not to have been cleaned for some time. Walls and draperies were damaged. Need to enforce the sign by pool regarding claiming of chairs in the courtyard. Every day people claim all the chairs all day and not even there sitting in them most of the time. There is not enough seating. It has gotten to the point where we are considering other resorts for future visits.
