Wonderful

Liked:It was great the resort is beautiful. Rooms are nice and comfortable clean but the shower head was the size of a quarter sothat wasbad need to get bigger heads.we will return for our next vacation all in all give it a 98.

Had a good time, but it is time to move and look for another hotel

Liked:Location is prime, it is the reason I come back every time. Ocean view, plenty of pools and good music. But for some reason the hotel owners do not wish to spend money on the hotel to keep it in good shape. It is a little sad to see this.

Disliked:The hotel looks very dated. My room had several issues: the table missed one leg, the sink was clogged, the closet door does not close, the bed pillows smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke, and while the hotel has a no smoking policy, people openly smoke pot and cigarettes on their balconies. One other thing; the showers are for miniature people only. For an adult, almost 6 ft, you have to go through your knees to get your hair washed.

Nice area

Liked:Sea Watch is a beautiful resort right on the ocean. They have several pools, 2 lazy river areas and several hot tubs. The common areas are kept clean; however, individual units could be kept cleaner. Seems they don’t pay attention to baseboards, ceiling fans, etc. The views of the beach are beautiful but be careful what you are paying for - we booked a 2 bedroom oceanfront room and I felt it was more of an ocean view because our view was a sideways view. When I questioned it, I was told that the room we were in was listed as ocean front. The management told me that all units in the North Tower where we were are ocean front. However, according to the official Sea Watch website, most units in the North Tower are ocean front - they also show pictures on their website of ocean front and ocean view rooms. Ocean front in their pictures show the waves rolling in right towards you while ocean view has a beautiful view as well but from the side. We’ve stayed in the South Tower in the past and I never questioned the ocean front rooms because they were directly facing the ocean-in the North Tower which is curved, I felt they were definitely ocea view. As the price difference is significant, I feel we were over charged. The breakfast that they offer was good. Apparently, if you pay ahead it is cheaper at $15 but it you buy it there, it costs more. However, it was the same everyday-they could have changed it up some. They had scrambled eggs, bacon (sometimes undercooked and sometimes burnt), sausage (didn’t really care for this type), biscuits and gravy and potatoes. I love potatoes but tried these on 2 different days and they were AWFUL - they tasted dirty or rotten not sure definitely bad. If you want cereal, fruit, yogurt - they are inside. We ate outside and never even knew they had those things. The server will also bring toast if you ask. The best part of the breakfast buffet was the made to order omelets or waffles.
