Overall, we would stay at this hotel again if we wanted lodging close to one of the downtown venues.

Liked:The facility was in a great location for the concert we attended at the Riverside Theater. It was barely a 2 minute walk, which is one of the main reasons we chose this location. The bed in our room was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in! The breakfast offerings were much more varied than a typical included breakfast.

Disliked:The cleanliness of the room could have been better in some spots. We had a gorgeous view of the river and the downtown area, but when we opened the sheer curtains, there were dead bugs and other unrecognizable "schmuck" on the windowsills. It appeared there was dried toothpaste on the front of the bathroom vanity, which was in pretty poor shape. Additionally, the duvet on the bed was pretty dirty, which we discovered only after we slept in it for the night. Had we seen that, we would have asked housekeeping to replace that cover. The curtains in the bedroom didn't close all the way, which was frustrating, because our room faced to the east and the early morning sun hit us right in our faces much too early in the morning! Beware that you do have to pay $30 per vehicle (plus tax) to park in the underground parking garage. Since we met at the hotel for the concert, it added an additional $60+ dollars onto our lodging costs.

Liked:perfect location for all things and places in the historic 3rd ward

Disliked:breakfast was disappointing: coffee was bland and the server brought in a fresh batch of hashbrown that was cold, runny and had LOTS of onion in it, I only ate a few spoons and still felt stomach sick all morning. Scrambled eggs were ok.
