Beautiful hotel with outstanding character. While a billing issue after checkout was disappointing,

Liked:I love the location, the decor, and the closeness to the HD Museum, which is the primary reason for my return to the property. This time I rode my motorcycle all the way from Southern Maryland.

Disliked:I reserved and paid for the room through Booking.com, and the clerk at the desk asked for my credit card at check-in for incidentals. After checking out the next day and almost back home, I learned that the hotel charged me for the same night's stay on top of booking.com. I called and spoke to someone at the front desk who kept me on hold for 13 minutes while resolving the charge. She came back on the line and said it was reversed. The very next day, it was charged on my card again. I had to file a claim dispute with the CC company, and it's still being investigated. *UPDATE* Management took ownership of the problem, apologized, and resolved it professionally. While the mistake was frustrating, I appreciate the way it was ultimately handled."

Liked:Free motorcycle parking. Very clean, cool looking hotel.

Disliked:Can't think of anything negative. There was a wedding going on and the restaurant was closed for the private party but we just made other dining plans. No big deal.
