Liked:The room is modern, clean and with a nice balcony, but overpriced in my opinion. The location also isn't ideal, as you need an Uber to go anywhere(there's no pharmacies, supermarkets or restaurants nearby). Staff were competent but not friendly compared to most hotels. The breakfast was decent but I've had much better. I had no issue during my stay, but there is also nothing worth incentivizing a return next time I'm in Medellin

Very disappointing!

Liked:The location was OK, you need to take a taxi to El Poblado. The nearest mall is a 20 min walk, a lot of traffic in front of the hotel. The swimming pool was big, inside and hot. The fitness space was very small. There is a coworking space, but it seems like a lot of locals are working there making a lot of noise. It was too bad there wasn't any possibility to get drinks or a coffee or something. But, Medellin is fantastic! The hotel not so much.

Disliked:I don't understand all the positive reviews (probably friends or something??), but this is not what to expect from a 5 star Hotel. This was the worst we have had in our entire trip in Colombia (or other countries). The room was dirty, the door to the balcony was open when we arrived, so we had some insects inside the room. There is only 1 towel per person, sometimes the room wasn't cleaned. There is an old small fridge which makes a lot of noise during the night. Also, there is a lot of noise coming from outside as the room isn't well isolated. There is no chair or something to sit on in the room, no space to go on your computer or write/read except for your bed. I expected more from the breakfast, it was really small and tasted not so great. If you want a coffee like a cappuccino with your breakfast you have to PAY extra for it. It's not expensive, but not right for a 5 star hotel. You cannot put it on your room, so every day after breakfast you have to wait and pay for your coffee. Some days we had breakfast somewhere else. When checking out they told us we took a bag of chips and we need to pay for that. Well, we didn't so I had to sign a form in Spanish to not pay for it. No idea what we have signed, because they don't have anything in another language than Spanish.
