Perfect

Liked:We checked out with Peter today after a wonderful stay. Folks here are so nice and helpful our cabin was quiet with a stunning view. The kitchens have all the utensils and dishes you'll need to make dinner, which you should do so that you can have more deck time. There are trails right out the door. It's our second time here.

Pretty location, overprice cabin

Disliked:Our cabin had a bed that was too soft and was very tight quarters. The cabin was squelching in the hot afternoon sun. The faucet broke, and the paint on the patio railing was peeling. The breakfast was mediocre. Our view was of a gravel parking lot and cars. I believe that all the other cabins are probably much nicer, but we were disappointed and found the accommodations to be extremely expensive for the quality.

Tamarack Lodge Never Disappoints

Liked:We’ve stayed at Tamarack Lodge four years in a row, and we can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Mammoth. Between the breathtaking scenery, exceptional customer service, and being just a couple of minutes from the heart of Mammoth, it’s become our family’s home away from home. Pets are not allowed in the following room types: Queen Room & Queen Room with Shared Bathroom On the day of booking, 50% of the total reservation plus applicable taxes will be charged. Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until July. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.
