Clean Hotel, Service and Maintenance Disappointing

Liked:The hotel was generally clean and well-maintained; Staff were polite and generally friendly.

Disliked:There was constant noise throughout the day due to ongoing refurbishment work, which made it difficult to relax. Additionally, the shower pressure was very poor, and hot water was not available during my stay. Despite reporting the issue to reception twice, no one came to inspect or resolve it. Another inconvenience was that the phone in the room was not functioning, so whenever we needed assistance or wanted to request food, we had to go down to reception in person. I hope these issues can be addressed, as they significantly impacted an otherwise comfortable stay. IHG hotels have a good reputation but this one was below average but I'm going to put it down to thr refurbishment activities this time before ot turns into a holiday inn.
