Liked:For a small family from Tasmania this Resort did big international tourism and we were overwhelmed. Thank god we got a private villa. Villas were spacious, but not well resourced with necessities ,get the private villas, prices and services were just ok. Big pools and long sandy beach but both over crowded.

A Disastrous "5-Star" Experience - More Like a Poorly Managed 3-Star Resort
Liked:I rarely, if ever, write negative reviews because I understand that no hotel is perfect. However, my recent stay with a friend at Duyen Ha Resort Cam Ranh was so profoundly disappointing that I feel compelled to warn other travelers. While this property claims to be a 5-star luxury beachfront resort, our experience felt closer to a poorly managed 3-star hotel.
Here are the issues we encountered during our stay:
-Deceptive Room Availability & Poor Maintenance: We booked a Premium room but arrived to find the balcony flooded above ankle-level and the carpet heavily stained. The hotel sent two technicians who did nothing but talk and told us to "wait for the water to drain by itself." When we demanded a room change, the manager initially claimed no rooms were available and asked us to wait until the next day. However, the moment we told her to either find a room or upgrade us to a sea-view building, a Premium ground-floor room magically became available instantly. Dishonest and unacceptable service.
-Ignored Birthday Request: I had noted in our reservation that this stay was to celebrate my birthday. Throughout our 4-day, 3-night stay, there was absolutely zero birthday recognition or amenity. Even 4-star hotels Iโve stayed at manage to arrange a small birthday setup. This was a highly disappointing surprise.
-Lack of Basic Amenities: The resort does not even provide an iron for guests to borrow, which is a standard amenity in any reputable hotel.
-Fully Booked Shuttle Service: The hotel offers a shuttle service to Nha Trang city center and this is one of the reasons we chose to stay here. However, when we tried to book it for the following day, we were told it was completely full for every single slot. We checked for the day after that, and it was also full. As a result, we couldn't use the service at all and had to pay out-of-pocket for private transportation just to get into town.
-Severe Privacy Violations: While we were inside our room changing clothes, a staff member abruptly opened the door without knocking or ringing the doorbell. We reported this massive privacy breach to the Manager, who promised to investigate, but they never bothered to follow up with us.
- Ignored Do Not Disturb Sign: We turned on the DND light to avoid being bothered, yet housekeeping still knocked on the door just to ask if we wanted the room cleaned.
-No Housekeeping When Requested: Conversely, when we actually wanted our room cleaned, we turned on the housekeeping switch and hung the physical sign on the door. When we returned later, the room had not been touched.
-Language Barrier in Room Tech: The YouTube application on the TV was permanently set to Russian. Every single time we wanted to use it, we had to manually change the settings. If it had been set to Vietnamese, it would have been understandable, but this was just inconvenient.
-Chaotic Breakfast Management & Illness: The breakfast service was an absolute mess. There was no receptionist standing by to check room numbers upon arrival (something I have seen at 100% of the hotels I have ever visited.) Anyone could just walk in and grab food. The live cooking stations were chaotic; people were cutting lines because there was no system or queue management.
More severely, my friend and I ate the exact same meals outside the resort except for breakfast. On the afternoon after eating the hotel breakfast, I developed severe diarrhea and vomited multiple times, which lasted until the next morning. The buffet food looked unfresh and was served ice-cold. As an avid traveler who frequently enjoys hotel buffets, I have never experienced symptoms like this before.
-Unacceptable Buggy Wait Times: We were told that the buggy service takes about 10โ15 minutes. However, on our checkout day, we had to wait for 30 minutes just for a buggy to come and pick up our luggage.
-Ridiculous Checkout Delays: Upon checkout, the staff insisted on a "10-minute room inspection." I have stayed at numerous 5-star properties worldwide, and none of them inspect the room at checkout, that is a practice reserved for 3-star motels. To make matters worse, they took much longer than 10 minutes and never came back to update us. After already losing 30 minutes waiting for the buggy, this extra delay made us incredibly anxious about missing our flight.
So do not be fooled by the "5-star" label like me ๐ข this is a poorly managed 3-star property at best. While the beachfront location is beautiful with lush greenery, and the bedding and towels are of good quality, dealing with flooded rooms, chaotic breakfast, unhygienic food that made me sick, and exhausting checkout delays is absolutely not a luxury experience. Avoid this place if you want a stress-free holiday!

Pool, beach
Liked:We had a wonderful 2-night, 3-day stay at this hotel! Everything was very convenient, and the swimming pool and beach were absolutely beautiful โ perfect for relaxing and enjoying the vacation atmosphere. ๐
We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary late check-out service, which made our last day much more comfortable and stress-free.
A special thanks to Manager Han, who was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. His warm hospitality and thoughtful support made our experience even more memorable.
We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to stay again when we visit Nha Trang!

great vacation in duyen ha
Liked:I had an amazing stay at Duyen Ha Resort in Nha Trang. The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with warm smiles. Their service and hospitality exceeded my expectations and made the whole trip even more enjoyable.
One thing I really loved was that there were very few Korean tourists, so it truly felt like a relaxing international getaway. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a quiet vacation.
The ocean view from the room was absolutely beautiful, and the beach facilities were very well maintained. The sunbeds and resting areas by the beach were comfortable and perfect for relaxing while enjoying the sea breeze. It was the ideal place to unwind and enjoy a real vacation. Highly recommended!
