Beautiful location, charming family owned hotel on a farm just a few train stops from Salzburg.

Liked:Beautiful location, charming family owned hotel on a farm just a few train stops from Salzburg. We stayed here as our first night in Austria with our 2 young kids and it was such a wonderful introduction to the culture, cuisine and people. The kids loved walking around the farm seeing the animals (ponies, cows, chickens, goats and pigs!) and playing on the playground. The hotel is literally steps to the train stop, was so exciting to board right there and also to watch trains passing by (never heard them when in the hotel!). The room was clean, cozy and comfortable and did have a/c! We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was incredible and all fresh most of it from their farm. The breakfast was charming and delicious as well. The staff was so kind and generous and made our stay truly momentous.

Disliked:Room did not have a mini fridge. Not critical but just good to know.

Liked:The room is Great for families. The kids have their gallery so it kind of like a a junior suite. The shower is open to the room so maybe a bit less ideal for bigger children, but with small children it’s ok. Breakfast is lovely.
