Old need renovation

Liked:I never write reviews as they can be confusing or far to conflicting to be truly reliable; However, this needs to be noted before anyone books this hotel. My wife & I were in Sherbrooke a cycling trip & ran late booking a room, so we had no other choice even though the people at he city information center told us to avoid the President!? I would compare it to a "Crack Hotel", not even a 1-star rated property! The room we had was on second floor directly above all the walk out rooms to parking lot. All night long large parties of construction workers in front of rooms! I could not open patio door due to smoke from Pot & Crack bellowing up & into building. Even closed it flowed in threw air conditioner vent! Then the noise all night long from at least 10 rooms clanging bottles, music & opening closing of doors. Then the next day I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could load car, & thought I could at least get a cup of coffee; but was told by reception that the coffee at the front door was for paying guests NOT me sir?? I guess paying $240/night doesn't qualify for free coffee? PLEASE take my and locals words seriously, and STAY AWAY !!

Disappointing

Liked:My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing due to the poor condition of the room. The restroom was unclean, with sticky floors and noticeable mold in the bath. The bathtub had visible stains, which made it feel unhygienic. The furniture was worn out and damaged, clearly showing its age, and the carpet throughout the room was dirty, adding to the overall sense of neglect. A strong moldy smell permeated the entire room, making it even more uncomfortable. It's evident that this hotel is showing significant signs of wear and tear and is in desperate need of a thorough renovation to bring it up to an acceptable standard.
