Great location nice vibes rooms could use some updating

Liked:The pool area was nice and the open air restaurant is beautiful. It’s a shame it was closed on Monday and Tuesdays. Also ashamed that the bar by the pool closes at 2:30 when it was a 90° day. The lobby has a nice vibe and the lobby bar was decent. The Alfred’s coffee shop was nice too and not too overpriced. The location is fantastic
Disliked:It is a little painful to pay that much money for the room and then have to pay $66 plus tax plus tip for valet parking each night. The beds were not comfortable. The pillows are flat. The mattresses seem very old and spongy soft like old springs that have been used too many times the shower didn’t turn on very well and the air-conditioning fan was so loud and never really got the room any colder than about 70°.

Disliked:Being charged an extra 25.00 to be higher to look at the bank and 65.00 for parking.

Liked:Good food and entertainment options in the building. Comfortable bedding. Good blackout blinds.
Disliked:Surprisingly noisy in the room. Despite the concrete walls, there was a lot of street noise and hallway noise that could be heard. For such a high-end hotel, surprised that they didn’t have robes in the room. Also they charge for EVERYTHING. never seen a hotel charge you to empty the mini bar fridge. Weird that you have to walk through a nice restaurant to get to the pool. There was also some very obvious chipping and wear and tear in the bathtub and the handle fell off in my hand when I turned on the shower.
