Not the best

Liked:Rooms are big and spacious, great for big groups
Disliked:We noticed a very bad and strong smell of weed as soon as we walked into the lobby. We had to do self check in because the person at the desk was busy on the phone. Parking NOT available, the one across from the hotel is $30 dlls, ugly, dirty and sketchy, they definitely take advantage of people staying overnight. The hotel should at least consider validating the parking ticket. Facilities look like they need maintenance.

Good Hotel, Could have been on a better location, Parking sucks !!

Liked:This is a good hotel, but the location is a bit scary. The left side of hotel is considered unsafe zone, and that scares a lot. I was asked to park opposite to the hotel (paid parking), and the parking was a nightmare. There was a urine smell in the parking and human poop all around. The hotel is overall good, but they must do something for the parking. I understand that there is no parking in hotel, but guests who are coming can't park in poop area as well, and that too $30 a day, which is too much.
Disliked:Parking should be managed / owned by the hotel even though they charge the customers. Someone else "not maintaining" is not a good idea and there is no liability on the hotel for the same.

If you need a kitchen in downtown LA, I guess stay here.

Liked:The room was large.
Disliked:While the room was large it open. It is evident that this hotel was made over from being a creepy hotel. The room did not feel warm or cozy. It felt like a hospital room with the metal counters. The hotel had no hospitality. While I checked in late, a very nice security guard had to help me check in with the iPad. The hotel is on the 7th avenue and it was very loud. I heard all the street noise all throughout the night and morning.
