Not as advertised

Liked:- Great location within walking distance of the Walk of Fame etc. - Clear instructions - Good parking - Washing machine and dryer worked fine

Disliked:- We were disappointed with the apartment. The listing showed photos of a balcony, large nice windows and plenty of sunlight. In reality, we ended up in an apartment with hardly any windows and no balcony. If we opened the curtains, the view was of concrete in a dark shaft. A "dark hole" is the best way to describe the experience. • The WiFi kept dropping in and out, making it practically unusable. In several rooms the WiFi consistently didn't work at all. • Parts of the apartment are in need of an update - for example, many of the buttons on the keypad outside the door were so worn that we had to guess our way in, and panels and walls needed painting in several places. • The apartment didn't smell very good - an indefinable "sour" smell. • The air conditioning/ventilation was so loud that it was impossible to have it on if you wanted to sleep (perhaps that's why it smelled sour). • Noise traveled easily, and when there were other people in the hallway it was impossible to ignore - no matter how quiet they were. • The hot water took a very long time to arrive. It typically had to run for 5-7 minutes before it got warm - long enough that the first few times we only experienced cold water. All in all, we chose to leave early, as we felt locked in without any daylight.

Liked:We are returning guests and once again had a wonderful stay in this spacious, beautiful 2-bedroom apartment! We enjoyed every minute of our 3-night visit. The apartment was well-maintained. Sam’s hospitality was outstanding. He was incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We had such a great experience that we would happily return again. Highly recommended!

Spacious, comfortable and in walking distance of Walk of Fame. Super location and even better host.

Liked:Brilliantly located with an amazing host. We never had a single problem but we knew exactly who to call if we did. Check in instructions were super thorough and easy. The apartment is extremely spacious and well-kitted, and also very quiet. The aircon works extremely well (we even got a little cold at times and it was a very hot week in LA). We were very comfortable and would definitely stay here again.

Disliked:Nothing. It was fantastic for our needs as a family of 4.

Liked:Wonderful Roof Top. Comfortable Appartement, enough space for 6 persons.

Disliked:Chairs, knives and forks would be fine for 6 persons and a little more, so that you don't have to start the dishwasher after every breakfast.
