Comfortable stay and close to everything.

Liked:The location was great. Very central and waking distance from Santa Monica Pier and the Mall. Jacuzzi, gym and metro across the road were an advantage.

Disliked:The breakfast options. Some green salad, cucumber and tomatoes would have been nice options for the digestion. The advertised price to what I paid were inconsistent! They didn’t clean our room everyday and we also made sure to take the sign off!

Home Away from Home

Liked:I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Santa Monica for five months on a work assignment. Living in a hotel for that long can be challenging, but the entire team there made it an absolute pleasure. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly from day one. Their warm, accommodating nature truly helped make my extended stay feel like a genuine home away from home. Special thanks to: Ian, Matt, Guinevere, Claribel, Darlene, Trevon, and Alicia. Also a huge shout out to the fantastic parking crew who took great care of me and my car every single day! You all rock especially Kai, Michael, Jorge, and Carlos!!!!

Could have been better, sorry

Liked:There was a gentleman on the reception the next morning, very nice man, very professional and he has made our visit more pleasant than it would have been. He helped us get the coins for laundry and apologized for accident next morning, by reducing rate. Breakfast was good, you wouldn’t think at the first glance but was actually healthy and coffee/ tea is complementary. Location is great, just 200m from the Pier, we loved it.

Disliked:Several things actually; too pricy hotel for what you get. At the check in, there was the rudest lady behind the desk, fed up with us, with life I assume. My husband was not allowed to do check in on my name, he waited more than 2 hrs in the lobby as arriving before us. She was very arrogant even when I arrived. It was on 25.6.2026 around 4pm. Managers should organize some customer service behavior trainings. In the morning we got a leakage in the bathroom through the sink out of nowhere. We had like 10 second to pick up our belongings before dirty water going over. The plumber came as this is normal thing, so I assume it is happening regularly, probably they were cleaning upper floor and it broke out.
