Would recommend

Liked:Less hotel more apartment Airbnb. I had no issues with accessing my room despite the no front desk. As long as you read your original email and follow the directions you are good. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and within a short walking distance to the convention center. Restaurants nearby that were very good (district wine and crème de La crepe were delicious!)

Would never book if Booking.com provided the correct info in description section

Liked:It was a last-minute booking before flying out to Long Beach. Advised need to leave our luggage so we could look around. I got a message asking us to go check-in their page. Little did I know to request a simple luggage storage service that a normal hotel is free of charge. This hotel would like to charge us USD 85. I thought there must be a glatch and once we received the room code in LA we made our way to the hotel. After carrying all our luggage up 3 steep stairs without an elevator. We then realized the code wasn’t working and we did not have US sim, internet, or working room code to leave our luggage anywhere. We ended up sitting in the hotel reception area for almost 5 hours and saw hotel staff walk past by but NO ONE ASKED NOR TRIED TO PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE. In the meantime, I was trying to talk to someone from the hotel via Booking.com who kept going into an endless circle about you did not submit online / submit online paid your $85 US then we can talk about that. If all the extra charge was clearly stated in the Booking.com hotel description, I had no issue with the fee. Unfortunately, the info on booking.com wasn't clear. The only reason we stayed for the night was due to the time difference I couldn't get in contact with my credit card. Overall the hotel stay is OK besides all the drama. The bed was comfortable but not stable. Airon was on but never cold. This hotel won't suit anyone with large / lots of luggage, family, or seniors as the stairs are way too steep, and no elevator or help from anyone. Make sure you only stay between 4 pm to 11 am check-out or you will face crazy fees ($35 for parking and $85 for early check-in or $85 for luggage storage). Seriously, the $85 luggage storage fee is a joke when other hotels, hostels or even Airbnb won't charge the amount if the room is available. Don't get me wrong more than half of the hotel was empty including the room I booked.

Contactless Self CheckIn Couldn't Get into Room

Liked:I reserved the stay for 1 day prior to my cruise. I received the confirmation email and room#206 the access code didn't work the panel would light green then a few seconds later turn red I texted and called the number given #833-782-9522 and received no response. After a few hours I made new arrangements and stayed at Staybridge Suites. Received an email when I got back from cruise asking how was my stay. I've filled a dispute with my credit card company and letting social media do the rest in regards to Broadlind Hotel.
