Good enough, just be aware of the mini-fridges

Liked:I’m deducting a star for their mini-fridges (coolers) that don’t stay on 24/7. The coolers in the rooms only stay cool for 2 hours at a time and 8 hours overnight. We had medication for my son that needed to stay refrigerated. I ended up buying a mini-fridge from Target to keep it refrigerated. Other than that the battery lock on our door died and had to be replaced. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. The stuff is friendly enough, even when they were informing me that they had no actually refrigerators and they couldn’t store the medication for us (not that I would do that). The only rude staff was a young man at the Starbucks in the lobby. Refused to acknowledge me even when I stood at the counter and made eye contact for thirty seconds. He started making a drink for my wife who is allergic to dairy and when I tried to tell him how she likes it he said he knew how to make it in a condescending tone. I just walked away. The manager made it up to us with free beverages and muffins. Just be aware of the fridge situation. I don’t know if that’s a SoCal thing or a Marriot policy, but they’re claiming it’s for economical purposes yet I’m sure that won’t be reflected in the bill.
