Family stay Murray hotel.

Liked:We stayed as part of a family group for my nephews wedding 2nd July to the 6th July. The staff were friendly and so accommodating they are all a credit to the hotel. The small special touches to make our experience more special. We weee a family group in London for my nephews wedding. The team decorated his room which was a very nice touch. The rooms are on the small side even the deluxe rooms. But we were not spending a huge about of time in the rooms but they were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lively and yes the dining room is small but again you are only there for a short time. The hotel located well to explore the delights of Marlybone. I would recommend the hotel for the staff alone! Well done team and thanks for the great service.

FRAUD

Liked:FRAUD!!!! This is the worst place in my life! Rooms without window in basement! Nothing to eat for Breakfast. Pay attention, this is a SCAM. NEVER AGAIN. We paid more than 400£ per night to sleep on a basement! This is a SCAM. Never again we will book this hotel

SCAM deluxe rooms in a basement without windows

Liked:Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life. The room, advertised as 15 square meters, was barely 7—no exaggeration, it felt like a broom closet. To make it worse, it was in a basement with no windows, yet somehow they dared to call it a ‘deluxe room’. False advertising at its finest. Breakfast? A complete joke. There was nothing to eat—literally empty trays—and even if there had been food, there was nowhere to sit. Guests were either standing awkwardly or balancing plates on their laps. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being lied to and treated like an afterthought.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Liked:One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The air conditioning in my room was blowing hot air throughout the night, with a window that only opened a couple of centimetres, making the room unbearably hot and stuffy in the middle of summer. Despite alerting the front desk at 2am and waiting until 3am for someone to attempt to fix it, the issue was never resolved. I didn't sleep and felt extremely ill throughout the night and during the next day as a result, severely impacting a presentation I had to give the next day. I communicated this complaint on the night, the following day, during check out and in a follow-up a few days later, raising concerns about the faulty AC and highlighting potential health and safety risks for other guests. This is the first time I've ever had to make a formal complaint to a hotel. The front desk staff were at least sympathetic, agreed that a refund was due and said that management would be in touch to arrange this. Unfortunately, after chasing several times for a response, the hotel management’s response was dismissive. They neglected to properly address the issue, offering just £30 (later increased to £60) off a £300+ stay, which did not reflect the seriousness of the situation. After more than three months and repeatedly chasing for fair compensation, I am still waiting for a satisfactory resolution. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially given the blatant disregard for guest safety and the poor customer service I have received since my stay.
