Lovely stay, great staff

Liked:The location was perfect for a show at the Eventim Apollo. The receptionist was extremely helpful and made me feel very welcome. When someone delivered the breakfast and when I saw the cleaner as I left they were also both very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and the tea and coffee facilities were very good. Breakfast was delivered on time.

Disliked:While the room was clean and tidy there was a crack on the bathroom tiled floor, but very minor and I understand these things happen, it wasnt a trip hazard or anything. The breakfast was on time and varied, but the apple was a little old. These are only small issues and didnt prevent me enjoying my stay.

Beware: Think twice before storing your luggage at this hotel

Liked:The location is good. Price is decent. There are stair cases in our building, but they said they could ask the staff to help with the luggages.

Disliked:Extremely disappointing and intimidating experience – especially for a hotel recommended by TripAdvisor We were checking out on September 11. On the evening of September 10, we specifically asked the front desk if the hotel could store our luggage for us until September 12, while we went to Bath. The receptionist working on the evening of September 10 clearly told us that this was fine and reassured us, “No problem.” Based on this confirmation, we made our plans accordingly. On September 11, after checking out, we returned to leave our luggage as previously agreed. However, a different receptionist, Naw, suddenly told us that it was not possible. We explained that we had specifically asked the previous evening and had been told that it was okay. Naw then told us that the hotel would have “no liability” for our luggage if we left it at the reception. We were surprised by this because we have stayed at many hotels and have used hotel luggage storage before, but we have never experienced a receptionist handling the situation in this manner. When I said that I would write an honest review about our experience, Naw said, “If you write the review, you cannot put the luggage here.” I told him that I was still going to write the review. He then said, “We have legal team to deal with it.” I repeated that I was going to write the review. He then rudely told us, “Take your luggage out.” This was an extremely uncomfortable and intimidating experience. We completely understand that a hotel may have a luggage-storage policy, and we would have respected that policy if we had been told about it from the beginning. However, we were explicitly told “No problem” the previous evening, and the information changed completely the next day. What was even more concerning was the way the situation escalated after I said that I intended to leave an honest review. Being told about a “legal team” and then being ordered to “Take your luggage out” made us feel pressured and unwelcome.

Nice hotel

Liked:I enjoyed every part of my stay the staff are lovely I did check in very late and they allowed me extra time to check out which was very much appreciated after a long day of travelling. the bedroom , bathroom was very clean

Disliked:My only downfall was the stairs to get to the room and no lift once you enter the other part of the building
