Spacious rooms and nice views

Liked:The Garden Deluxe room was really spacious and had great views of Kensington Gardens. I loved how neat and clean it was and the elevated deck added charm to the lovely room. The bathroom was also nice and clean, having a bathtub in addition to the standing shower is a rarity these days in Central London. The housekeeping service was great and we always found everything cleaned and restocked upon our return to the room. The location is great, a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants are within a walking distance. The High Street Kensington station is only 5 minutes walk.
Disliked:The lobby could use a revamp, as you walk-in at certain times of the day you’re met by the smell of cooking coming from the restaurant on the same level as the main entrance. Also there isn’t much more to the amenities of the hotel other than conference rooms, which makes it more suitable for business rather than leisure.

My last visit

Disliked:Upon checking in, the room wasn’t ready and they stored our bags. When the room was ready we came in to find our most valuable bag (LV limited edition) scratched. We notify the hotel and they sent someone to take photos and told us they would investigate the matter. After three days they came to aknowledge that the cameras showed that it might have happened while storing the bags and said they would have to take it to their top management. At the day of checkout they said that the best they could offer to us was an upgrade for our room in our next stay (if we ever come back). Though I understand that accidents can happen, it took them too long to answer. We reported the incident on the check in day 21 and received an answer one hkur before checkout on 27.
